The Croatian folk-group POLJANCI comes from Wulkaprodersdorf. The village has about 2000 inhabitants and lies in the east of Austria close to the Hungarian boarder. Founded in 1977 the group has about 100 members of every age, musicians who play the tamburitza, singers and dancers. Croatian songs are sung and accompanied by the tamburitza.
